Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By submitting and paying for an order, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined below, and authorize the commencement of production.

Handmade Light Fixtures

While the images on our website accurately represent our products, slight variations in color and finish may occur due to the artisanal methods used in production.

Payment

We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact us to arrange payment via Interac e-Transfer. We do not accept American Express, checks, ACH payments, or cash.

Production Lead Time

The standard production lead time is 8 to 16 weeks. This may vary depending on the complexity of the project and material availability. The lead time begins once full payment is received.

Shipping

Estimated shipping costs are provided on our product pages. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the customer for international shipments. If you are unavailable to receive the package, return shipping fees may apply.

Order Cancellation and Modification

Orders may be canceled or modified within 48 hours of submission, please contact us. Fees may apply.

Returns and Exchanges

As our products are made to order and customized, we do not accept returns or exchanges, except in the case of damage during shipping or defects covered by the warranty. However, if the product is in its original packaging, unopened, and unassembled, please contact us and we will evaluate your request. Return and handling fees may apply.

Damages Upon Delivery

Inspect the condition of the packaging upon delivery. If damaged, take photos and contact us within 5 days of receiving your order for a replacement. The product must be returned in its original packaging.

Installation

We recommend having our products installed by an electrician or qualified professional. The customer is responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and local ordinances in the jurisdiction where the product is installed. Incorrect or non-compliant installation may pose risks to safety, product damage, or loss of warranty. We disclaim any liability for incidents resulting from non-compliant or improperly installed products.

Warranty

Products purchased directly from Spectre or through one of our authorized resellers are covered by a warranty for up to two years from the date of delivery. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects or issues arising from normal use of the product. It does not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper installation, misuse, abuse, or negligence.

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us with photos. Spectre reserves the right to inspect the defective product to determine the cause of the defect before approving any repair or replacement. If the product is deemed defective, we will provide instructions for returning the product for repair or replacement. Repaired or replaced light fixtures or components will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or for a period of 90 days, whichever is longer.

Replacement Parts

To order replacement parts, please contact us. Proof of purchase and the product serial number may be required. Shipping costs and parts are not eligible for discounts, sales, or commissions.

Certification

Our light fixtures are inspected by UL under the SPE-1000 Canadian standard for products and electrical equipment manufactured in limited quantities. Please contact us for sales in the United States or internationally.
